About Jordan Morgan
Jordan Morgan is a current basketball player for Umana Reyer Venezia, a professional basketball team located in Venice, Italy (2021-22 Season). He has played professionally for Unics Kazan Basketball Club (Russia), Karšiyaka Basketball Club (Turkey), Banvit Basketball Club (Turkey), Petrol Olimpija (Ljubljana Slovenia), Kymi BC (Greece), the Canton Charge of the NBA G-League, Paris-Levallois (France), Hermine Nantes Atlantique (France), and Pallacanestro Virtus Roma (Italy). Jordan is a two-time Big Ten Champion from the University of Michigan. His hometown is Detroit, MI and he attended the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy (2009). Jordan was named to the Big Ten All-Defensive Team during his collegiate career. He helped Michigan to appearances in 4 NCAA tournaments, 2 Elite Eights, and 1 National Championship. He played in the most games and tied the record for the most wins in Michigan basketball history.
Off the court, Jordan was named to the 2014 Allstate Good Works Team and 2014 Michigan Daily Student of the Year. Jordan earned a B.S.E. degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering and a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering during his collegiate playing career. Since graduating, Morgan has also been active in the Michigan Business and Philanthropy community. He worked as an Engineering Consultant for Leon Speakers in 2017, assisting in an effort to refine their manufacturing process and design and prototype new products. Since 2016, he has served as an advisor for UrÅ« Sports, helping direct the growth of the young, sports-directed startup. He has served as a board member for Give Merit and currently serves as a board member for Wolverine Human Services and National Council Member for the University Musical Society. He has served as the President of The Jordan Morgan Foundation since its inception in 2015.
